Officer - Quality Control

Job Description:

1. Analysis of Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), In-Process (IP), Finished Goods (FG), Returns, and Recall samples; preparation of approved/rejected test reports as per SOP/STP.
2. Perform sampling of gases, powders, granules, liquids, and semi-solid materials safely and accurately.
3. Ensure proper batch numbering, packing, labeling, sealing, and sample management procedures.
4. Maintain QC analytical data integrity and release analytical reports through the Orion system.
5. Operate and perform routine analysis using laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, UV Spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer, pH Meter, Ion Analyzer, Conductivity Meter, LOD Analyzer, Calorimeter, Centrifuge, and Melting Point Apparatus.
6. Prepare calibration schedules and conduct calibration activities for laboratory instruments including GC, HPLC, IC, balances, pH meters, ion analyzers, and Karl Fischer equipment.
7. Conduct trend analysis of RM, PM, IP, and FG quality data and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
8. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
9. Assist in customer complaint investigations, deviation handling, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
10. Follow and maintain documentation as per analytical standards, BIS specifications, SOPs, STPs, and Work Instructions (WI).
11. Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Audit Trail requirements, and Analytical Data Integrity guidelines.
12. Support implementation of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory compliance requirements.
13. Maintain laboratory consumables inventory and ensure availability of required materials.
14. Prepare reagents, standard solutions, and perform standardization activities.
15. Carry out any additional assignments delegated by the Head of Department.
