Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant positions.
  • Coordinate with department heads for manpower requirements.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintain workforce planning and succession planning.

2. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations

  • Maintain healthy employee and worker relations.
  • Handle grievance management and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate with contractors and contract workforce.
  • Support union interactions and ensure industrial harmony.
  • Conduct employee engagement initiatives.

3. HR Operations

  • Manage attendance, leave, and employee records.
  • Ensure smooth joining, induction, confirmation, transfer, and exit processes.
  • Maintain HRMIS and employee documentation.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and MIS.

4. Performance Management

  • Drive performance appraisal processes.
  • Support goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Identify talent and development opportunities.
  • Implement performance improvement initiatives.

5. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs across departments.
  • Prepare annual training calendar.
  • Coordinate technical, behavioral, and compliance training programs.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and records.

6. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and factory regulations.
  • Handle PF, ESIC, CLRA, Factory Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate audits and inspections by government authorities.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and records.

7. Payroll & Compensation Support

  • Coordinate payroll inputs and verification.
  • Monitor overtime, shift allowances, and employee benefits.
  • Support compensation benchmarking and salary revisions.

8. Administration

  • Oversee security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, and facility management.
  • Manage employee welfare activities.
  • Ensure proper administrative support for plant operations.
