Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Store
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations for raw materials, consumables, engineering spares, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper receipt, storage, preservation, and issuance of materials.
- Maintain inventory records and stock accuracy through ERP/SAP systems.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and coordinate with Purchase department for replenishment.
- Handle GRN preparation, material coding, bin management, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Utility, and Commercial teams for timely material availability.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping, and FIFO practices in stores.
- Manage vendor coordination related to material dispatch and receipt.
- Prepare MIS reports related to inventory, consumption, non-moving items, and stock aging.
- Lead and supervise store staff, helpers, and warehouse personnel.
- Support audit activities and maintain statutory/store records.
