Officer / Executive / Senior Executive - Research & Development

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design synthetic routes for novel agrochemical leads and intermediates.

• Execute multi-step organic synthesis, reaction optimization, and route scouting.

• Conduct structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies in collaboration with biology teams.

• Purify and characterize compounds using modern analytical techniques (NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, GC, IR).

• Support scale-up trials from lab to pilot plant for promising leads and intermediates.

• Document experimental procedures and maintain detailed laboratory records (ELN).

• Conduct literature and patent searches to identify new synthetic methodologies.

• Work with interdisciplinary teams (biology, formulation, regulatory, process engineering).

• Ensure compliance with EHS, GLP, and regulatory standards in laboratory operations.
